While recording at our local radio station, I noticed that the program would drop audio in random places: I could see the audio signal on the screen, but the playback was dead silence.
Upon installing a fresh copy on my home studio PC, it did the same thing! I spent valuable time going back to the source audio, copying and pasting, to replace the dead time with the exact same audio that would actually play.
